Technical file for machinery

This checklist describes the procedure for creating technical documentation. On the basis of the technical documentation, it must be possible to assess the conformity of the machine with the requirements of this directive. The documentation must cover the construction, manufacture and operation of the machine, as far as necessary for this assessment. The documentation must be written in one or more Community languages; excluded from this is the operating instructions for the machine, which are subject to the special provisions of Annex I, point 1.7.4.1 (2006/42/EC, Annex VII A).
