Product

In this view, you first decide whether your project involves testing a new or existing product. Creating a new product is discussed in the Products section, which covers various aspects such as naming, description, and other relevant information for the new product.

Multiple projects for the same product

It is possible to test the same product through multiple projects. In many cases, only one project will be performed for a product, but the possibility is given here. This is the case, for example, if a product is subsequently tested to determine if a "significant change" has taken place.

Harmonized standards

Harmonized standards are an essential tool for ensuring compliance with the basic safety and health requirements of EU directives. These standards are developed by European standardization organizations (CEN, CENELEC, and ETSI) and published in the Official Journal of the European Union. Although the application of harmonized standards is voluntary, they offer a clear advantage: products manufactured in accordance with these standards are presumed to conform to the requirements of the relevant directive.
