Components

A product consists of one or more components, for which hazards and risks must be identified. To make the risk assessment more transparent, the general structure of the product is first broken down into components and subcomponents. It is up to you to decide whether to create a comprehensive inventory of the product first or to evaluate the hazards of each component directly. The creation of a component is discussed in the section "Components".
