Relevant standards

Directives set minimum requirements for products listed in Annex I of the Machinery Directive. The concrete implementation of these requirements is specified by standards. Harmonized standards are standards listed in the Official Journal of the European Union. These standards possess the so-called "presumption of conformity". This means that compliance with the standards can be assumed to fulfill the requirements of the directive. If you add additional relevant standards to the list, they will also be included in the Declaration of Conformity.
