Media library

Only uploaded files are displayed in the media library. These files can be linked to the corresponding documents.

Difference between documents and files

A file is an independent digital unit of information, while a document contains additional metadata, descriptions and links to put the file into a specific context and to make it easier to manage. Documents can also serve as containers for files, containing additional information about the file.
